Reports indicate that Do Kwon, a wanted fugitive, seemed to have lived a life of luxury while on the run from Interpol. Despite being pursued by international law enforcement agencies, Kwon managed to reside in a posh apartment in one of Belgrade’s wealthiest neighborhoods in Serbia.
One might assume that being a wanted fugitive is a tough life. On the contrary – while on the run from Interpol, Do Kwon lived in luxury. In Serbia, he stayed in a lavish apartment in one of Belgrade’s wealthiest districts – minutes away from the Korean embassy. (h/t @DLNewsInfo) pic.twitter.com/qzvvgMEi4B

According to FatMan, a finance researcher in the Terra Research Forum, the apartment was only a stone’s throw away from the Korean embassy. Consequently, adding a layer of intrigue to this already bizarre situation. The reports further suggest that the value of Kwon’s luxurious residence was around $2.2 million.
On the contrary, the news of Do Kwon’s extravagant lifestyle as a fugitive has sparked outrage among those victimized by the scheme he was allegedly involved in. FatMan claims that the hundreds of millions of dollars he and other TFL workers allegedly took from UST victims only add insult to injury.
He also added that it is disheartening to see Do Kwon continue to indulge in his greed and obsession with opulence despite being on the run. Instead, he should focus on making amends and righting his wrongdoings.
On the other hand, this is not the first time Kwon has been in the spotlight for legal troubles, indicating a pattern of questionable activities. Earlier this month, the prosecution seized assets worth at least 414.5 billion won that belonged to TerraLuna executives, including Kwon Do-hyung.
As per the reports, the criminal proceeds earned by Kwon Do-hyung were estimated to be around 91.4 billion won. However, it remains to be seen what further developments may arise in this ongoing saga.
